Looking back at CARTES 2011, an other success

This year, CARTES 2011 attracted close to 20 000 visitors to the exhibition, confirming its position as the event of reference for the industry. From the World Card Summit to the SESAMES Award, to the conferences and booths, this year’s event was able to meet all exhibitors’ needs.

CARTES in NORTH AMERICA 2012

Next year, from the 5^th to the 7^th of March, CARTES will present the first edition of CARTES in North America

With the deployment of EMV solutions in the USA, North America became, according to EUROSMART, one of the most interesting markets in terms of opportunities for the next years.

As such, and to answer a really strong demand from the industry, this event has been specifically designed to support companies willing to develop their business in this large, growing market.

Eurosmart publishes smart cards shipments for 2011 and 2012 forecasts

This morning, chairman of Eurosmart Marc BERTIN introduced the World Card Summit with this year's projected expectations for the SMARTCARD industry

The Smart Security Industry passed the 6 billion mark microcontroller based Smart Secure Devices this year, proving that the industry is still booming with a forecasted 11% growth compared to last year. This trend continue as especially NFC and dual or contactless interface will continue to be deployed in more and more countries.

CARTES 2011 is now open!

Over 450 exhibitors abd 200 international speakers will welcome an expected 20 000 visitors during 3 intense days of networking and trade.

World Card Summit @ CARTES 2011
