New security solutions for mobile have been unveiled this year at CARTES 2011, KOBIL presented a brand new application based on Bluetooth to secure online transactions and banking, especially with mobile-banking and banking apps.
For the first time ever, KOBIL is offering this brand new solution at CARTES on their booth 3B035, mIdentity App is the very first banking application worldwide subjecting apps to specific hardening mechanisms.
Thanks to new activation procedures referring to KOBIL’s unique Smart Signature Technology, it enables signature as well and renders the SMS-TAN superfluous. A SDK (Software Development Kit) will be available to integrate the new security features into the existing banking applications or other apps, which require more security.
The products will be enhanced with an SSMS server, allowing a standardized management of all KOBIL products. The SSMS Server is the core of the mIDentity line as all authentications and signatures, thanks to the Dual Communication Technology, are processed through the SSMS server and are therefore offering the bank second channel, which in addition is secured separately. This allows the highest security at the highest user comfort.
